Dive
Dive is an exclusive youth night for young people aged 12 to 17 years, held every third Saturday of each month, from 6pm till 9pm at Kingsmead Leisure Centre.
If you are aged 12 to 17 you will have the opportunity to use the centre for £3 on the day and try as many activities as you choose. Activities will include:
What are the activities?
A fun and easy to follow street/hip hop dance work out.
A simple but very effective yoga session to develop your strength and flexibility.
45 min class on exercise bikes in a cycle studio. Good fun legs and bums work out
A circuit class aiming to improve your fitness with a boxing style work out.
All gym users are required to complete PAR-Q & You forms and HSQ & You form and then have a one-to-one or group gym induction with one of our fitness instructors. For your induction, please wear loose clothing, trainers and we strongly advise you to bring a small towel and a drink.
Once your induction has been completed, you are free to train when you like. Gym instructors will always be on hand to listen to any queries.
DJ Workshop
Come and learn some DJ skills in the room next to body and mind studio
Games room
Games room next to the café for you to enjoy wii fit, Guitar hero and many more
Cafe
The café will be open all evening serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.
What do you need to do?
All you need to do is go to Kingsmead leisure centre to pre book your place and pre book any classes you would like to attend and you will be handed a leisure card that you will need to bring on the night.
You can also turn up on the night and pay £3
