Herne Bay Through Our Pens
In the summer of 2009 a group of teenagers and over 50’s got together to take photos of Herne Bay. The best 23 were exhibited in the gallery of the Herne Bay Museum. This summer, the photos were used for a new project: Herne Bay Through Our Pens as part of the Herne bay Festival.
People of all ages wrote poems, stories and drew pictures about the photo that inspired them. You can see some of them reading their poems below.
